About The Position

The Clinical/Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Clinical Operations of the ASC and duties cover center planning, organizing, delegating, coordinating, staff utilization, controlling and marketing the services provided by the facility. This position reports to the ASC Administrator and functions as a working manager role. JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the ASC Administrator will:  Manage the Surgical and Perioperative Services of the center  Direct regulatory compliance  Perform inventory management  Implement quality improvement measures  Adhere to risk management protocols  Conduct human resource functions (hiring, training, counseling etc.) for ASC adhering to our policies  Control of staffing requirements and productivity  Promote training and use excellent management techniques to increase retention of staff  Provide outstanding customer service and patient care at the ASC  Assist in patient care as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS  Operating room experience  4 year degree Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.  5+ years experience in the Operating Room  2+ years in a supervisory or administrative capacity  Current BLS and ACLS certification KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES  Knowledge of reimbursement issues such as coding and managed care contracting.  Knowledge of AAAHC requirements and accreditation process  Excellent computer and organizational skills  Ability to multi-task is critical to this position  A great team player and a stellar representative of our organization  Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, bustling environment  Detail oriented self-starter with a strong work-ethic  Professional and positive interpersonal skills ability to work with all levels HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Our ASC is located in Orlando, FL. It is typically open Monday through Friday. Work hours are subject to change with surgery schedule. Requirements

  • Operating room experience
