About The Position

The organization is seeking a compassionate Clinical Assistant for a role that combines hands-on clinical care with essential administrative tasks to ensure an exceptional patient experience. A typical day involves welcoming patients, documenting medical histories, assisting providers with exams and procedures, sterilizing rooms and equipment, managing patient messages and prescription requests, and scheduling appointments. The role balances both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth, efficient patient care from start to finish.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years’ experience (primary care or ENT preferred)
Completion of accredited Medical Assisting program (CAAHEP, ABHES, or AMT ‑approved)

Nice To Haves

CMA, RMA, or LPN certification
Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients; document medical history, vitals, medications, and allergies
Assist Providers with exams, treatments, and in ‑office procedures
Administer medications and collect lab specimens
Provide patient education and serve as a scribe when needed
Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries
Respond to patient messages and prescription requests
Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and sterilization standards
Update records and manage work queues in the EHR system
Clean and restock exam rooms; sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA ‑compliant safety standards
Maintain clinic supply inventory and place orders when needed
Support the onboarding and training of new staff and apprentices
Collaborate with Providers and clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high ‑quality care
Travel to other CEENTA locations as needed
