Position Summary The Division of Radiologic Science is recruiting for a fixed-term, faculty appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor. The faculty member will have the primary responsibilities of: Teaching upper division undergraduate degree courses related to professional communication, leadership, research, medicolegal issues, and masters level research courses; Active role in leadership in the Division of Radiologic Science as specified with the Department Chair; Curriculum Director for master's degree program; Additional duties as assigned by Division Director or assumed role as Division Director.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree related to administration, healthcare, research, public health, or informatics; Applicants nearing completion of doctoral degree may be considered.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical imaging program (JRCERT or JRCDMS)
  • Certification in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or certification in sonography by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Nice To Haves

  • Prior teaching experience in a baccalaureate medical imaging program
  • Record of leadership positions in academics, healthcare, or industry
  • Prior administrative experience
  • Publication and presentation record at the state, regional, and national level
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, imaging informatics, global health/abroad opportunities for faculty and students
  • Active participation in professional societies (JRCERT/JRCDMS, ARRT/ARDMS; ASRT/SDMS)

Responsibilities
