Clinical Assistant Professor of Management
About The Position
The Management and Organization (M&O) Department in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University has an open rank full-time clinical professor of Management position (with a particular focus in Entrepreneurship). The desired start date for the position is Fall of 2026. Clinical faculty in the Smeal College of Business are hired on a multi-year contract, are expected to teach 18 credits per academic year (or its equivalent) and contribute to the teaching mission of the school by bringing relevant knowledge, experiences, and perspectives to the classroom. Clinical faculty also typically assume leadership roles in the department’s academic programs and mentoring of students including related student organizations. Clinical professors are eligible for promotion (ranks of Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, and Clinical Professor).
Requirements
- Clinical faculty in the Smeal College of Business have a primary focus on teaching, and therefore evidence of a successful teaching record is required.
- A terminal degree in management or a related field is also required.
