Clinical Assistant Professor - Nursing
About The Position
The School of Nursing is seeking a 12-month, non-tenure earning, Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing. This position is primarily engaged in providing practical instruction and application of practical knowledge. Position responsibilities will include a 4/4 teaching load. The successful candidate will: Teach in areas of expertise (e.g., Psych Mental Health, Adult Health, Pediatrics, Community Health, Women’s Health and Obstetrics, Research, Leadership) Participate in School committees Have experience in an active clinical practice as an RN/APRN Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise
Requirements
- Licensure as an advanced practice registered Nurse in Florida, or eligible for a Florida License
- Applicants should be prepared to provide the following required documents: Current curriculum vitae, Cover letter, Name, phone number, and email address of three professional references will be requested during the application review stage.
- The selected candidate will be required to submit official transcripts (and, as applicable, U.S. degree equivalency evaluations) documenting the conferral of their qualifying academic credentials by the date of hire.
