Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work required.
  • NJ provisional or associate licensed in the social services field (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC), full or independent licensure preferred.
  • Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred.
  • Current credentialing with managed care panels highly desired.
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities

  • Conducting biopsychosocial assessments to determine appropriate level of care for the patient.
  • Collaborating with outpatient providers.
  • Understand and present acuity, rationale for continued stay, treatment goals and discharge criteria.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  • Provide support to the team when needed.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the treatment team.
  • When needed, obtain current information on each patient’s clinical progress from various sources and present complete and appropriate clinical information to managed care companies.
