About The Position

This is a non-benefited position. Responsible for project management, analysis, design, configuration, implementation, maintenance and support of the organizational systems' clinical computer applications. Responsible for assisting and planning the installation and continuous development of the applications network. Coordinates established procedures related to information systems operations ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of system output. Provide assistance, problem solving, and technical information to customers regarding the use of clinical software applications.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing, pharmacy, or related clinical field.
Associate's Degree in a clinical field with three years of experience in the licensed profession may be substituted for the bachelor's degree
Experience: 2 years of clinical experience (with degree requirement) or 5 years experience (with associate's degree) in a hospital or clinic setting and experience using an electronic clinical documentation system
Experience in Informatics and Automated Clinical Information Systems
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office: Word, Access, Excel, Windows, and Outlook

Responsibilities

Manages assigned clinical applications projects.
Implements and supports assigned clinical application go-lives and upgrades.
Builds design tables, parameters, processes, and operational reporting needs.
Assists with the development and testing of disaster recovery plans for all assigned applications.
Supports system users and implementation and configuration of assigned systems.
Provides and supports hospital staff as necessary to ensure optimal usage and user updates.
Supports assigned applications to promote optimal functionality, including documenting, and analyzing system change requests.
Records documentation of systems and updates.
Develops databases or reports for end-users.
In conjunction with the Service Desk, maintains all system security control and confidentiality.
