What You’ll Do Support and enhance daily operations of MEDITECH and related clinical applications, helping keep the digital heartbeat of our organization running smoothly. This role partners with staff across Grand River Hospital District to provide training, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system upgrades and implementations across multiple facilities. You’ll analyze workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and help design, test, and maintain solutions that make clinical systems more efficient and user-friendly. Ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing projects, and bringing both structure and creativity to complex technical environments.

Requirements

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as an RN, LPN, EMT, or CNA, or certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Required experience supporting and working within the MEDITECH system, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows and applications.
  • Clinical information systems experience (or equivalent) implementing and supporting computerized clinical applications preferred.
  • Experience in an acute care hospital, clinic, or long-term care setting, with the ability to translate clinical needs into system solutions.
  • Familiarity with query tools, data reporting, and basic PC operations, with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Experience with quality improvement (QI) and utilization review (UR) processes, including use of QI tools to support organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in MEDITECH clinical/ancillary modules and related applications, with the ability to analyze workflows, identify solutions, and support systems functionality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present information, lead trainings, and engage effectively with staff, providers, leadership, and external partners.
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, including interpreting complex information, managing variables, and making sound decisions independently.
  • Ability to analyze user needs, define system requirements, and design practical, user-focused solutions in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Experience with project and time management, including leading initiatives, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines across multiple facilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related tools, with the ability to create reports, documentation, training materials, and use basic data analysis to support decisions.
  • Collaborative team player and leader who can navigate conflict, support quality improvement efforts, and balance organizational, human, and technical needs.
  • Ability to train and support end users, manage HCIS system functions within a specialty area, and maintain accountability while working both independently and as part of a team.
