They provide partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO's service programs offer a seamless, single-source distribution system, and their regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited, operating with state-of-the-art processing equipment. The company is seeking a confident, reliable, and timely Clinic Driver with excellent communication skills for their DuBois Healthcare Laundry facility. This role involves driving company box trucks to deliver linen supply carts to hospitals and clinics, managing inventory, interacting with customers, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record required.
  • Active Annual DOT Medical Certification Card.
  • Able to obtain any other licenses or pass tests required by regulatory agencies at that location.
  • Able to maintain safe driving record.
  • Able to push/pull loaded carts of hospital supplies (weighing up to 500 pounds) on and off truck and transfer to designated areas of a client hospital.
  • Able to communicate professionally with clients.
  • Ability to keep accurate log sheets.
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as appropriate.
  • Ability to read and understand applicable Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Drive company box truck carrying linen supply carts to hospitals.
  • Deliver Carts to hospitals/clinics at designated areas and load/unload trucks.
  • Take cart(s) to designated areas within the facility and accurately inventory all items.
  • Interact with customers daily and discuss customer inventory needs to avoid shortage or overstock situations.
  • Make timely deliveries as set by schedule following designated delivery routes.
  • Responsible for all pre-trip safety inspections, preventative truck maintenance services, and all other regulations per the Department of Transportation.
  • Proper cleaning of the company truck per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide accurate feedback from customers to facility management.
  • Keep accurate records/logs.
  • Assist in any other areas as directed.
