About The Position
Mississippi Sports Medicine is hiring a clinic staff nurse. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic, under the direct supervision of a physician and/or nurse practitioner.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a valid Mississippi nursing license
- One-year clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepares medicines according to physician request
- Maintains competency in specific area of practice
- Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal
- Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patients’ records
- Schedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and procedures
- Effectively communicate with patients
- Other nursing duties as required
