Requirements

Valid nursing license in Iowa - RN or LPN
CMA certified through AAMA, NHA, NCT or NHA.
BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification required.
Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certification in Cardiac Nursing (e.g., AACN or ANCC) preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiac conditions, including health history, vital signs, and medication reconciliation.
Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic procedures such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring.
Educate patients about their cardiac condition, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, referrals, and diagnostic tests as needed.
Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with minor procedures under the supervision of a physician.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
