About The Position

As a Clinic Scheduler – General Cardiology, you will ensure a smooth and seamless patient experience by coordinating scheduling, appointment flow, and clerical support across the Electrophysiology and Device departments. This role plays a crucial part in the daily operations of a high-functioning cardiology clinic network.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience with an EMR system.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfort with multi-tasking and handling a fast-paced clinical environment.
Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple clinic sites.
Reliable transportation and willingness to assist occasionally at other clinics in the area.

Nice To Haves

2 years of clerical or scheduling experience preferred.
Previous scheduling experience in a medical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Schedule and manage appointments for patients undergoing device checks and electrophysiology consults.
Coordinate with providers and multiple departments to ensure continuity of care.
Provide appointment reminders and follow-up communications.
Assist patients with pre-visit instructions, referrals, and procedural information.
Assist with insurance verifications and authorizations to ensure readiness for services.
Accurately document appointment details and maintain digital records within the EMR system.
Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, faxing, phone triage, and scanning.
Support providers and clinic teams with daily clerical workflow and coordination.
