Wentworth Health Partners Coastal Neurology Services has been providing adults and children with comprehensive and trusted care since 1983. Our board-certified physicians specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of an array of neurological disorders, including headaches, epilepsy, autism, ADHD, neuromuscular disease, neuropathy, sleep disorders, small-fiber polyneuropathy, stroke and more. We are seeking a part-time, 20-hour per week clinic/practice assistant with a consistent schedule of five 4-hour days, ideally from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The role will be fully onsite for the first 90 days to support training and onboarding, then transition to a hybrid schedule with one day per week onsite. This position can be based out of either the Dover, NH or Portsmouth, NH office. The position primarily focuses on processing prior authorizations for diagnostic testing, along with supporting daily operations through scheduling, managing record requests within a work queue, and communicating with patients and providers. Candidates from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, though prior healthcare or administrative experience is a plus. Summary Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties.
