About The Position

The Clinic Patient Care Assistant (CPCA) is responsible for providing direct and indirect care for patients presenting for preventative services, specialty services, urgent or emergent issues, and potential health problems. Care will be provided under the supervision of the practice physician and/or advanced practice provider. Services provided by the CPCA may include, but are not limited to, general patient rooming, assistance with procedures, and patient charting. The Clinic Patient Care Assistant (CPCA) has a scope of practice that will be discussed during the interview. The manager will provide a list of things that will be considered in an out of scope for this position. Order entry may be performed under the following conditions: a minimum of 1 year of experience, approval by both the physicians and Practice Manager, and ABROE credentialed.
