Clinic Nurse LPN/RN
About The Position
Are you a compassionate nurse who values community-based care? At Konza Prairie Community Health Center, our nurses play a vital role in delivering quality primary care and improving access for the patients we serve. The Clinic Nurse provides direct patient care including assessments, treatments, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and follow-up coordination. This role works closely with providers and care teams to ensure continuity of care and a positive patient experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unencumbered Kansas LPN or RN license (or temporary permit) required
- CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (or obtain within 90 days)
- Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Worker recommendations required
- One year of primary care experience preferred
- FQHC experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform diagnostic testing and assist with procedures
- Coordinate care and act as liaison with outside organizations
- Provide patient education before and after visits, including medication and equipment instruction
- Complete accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
