About The Position

Clinic Manager – Build, Grow, and Lead a Market Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a bold, people-centered clinic Manager who thinks like an entrepreneur and acts like a community connector. You won’t just manage a clinic — you’ll grow a market, build trust with system partners, and help people who use drugs find a safe, welcoming path into treatment. What You’ll Do Build & Grow the Clinic Rapidly ramp client census through community outreach and referral development Identify and build relationships with: Hospitals and emergency departments Behavioral health providers Harm reduction organizations Probation/parole, shelters, and social service agencies Represent CMS confidently with system partners and community stakeholders Lead Like an Owner Operate the clinic with an entrepreneurial mindset — treating growth, access, and experience as top priorities Partner with the Regional Operations Director to execute growth plans and new initiatives Track and manage KPIs tied to census growth, access, and service excellence Manage & Inspire the Team Hire, train, and develop front-line clinic staff Create a positive, accountable, high-energy clinic culture Coach staff to deliver exceptional, stigma-free patient experiences Ensure Strong Operations Oversee daily clinic operations, patient flow, and coordination of care Partner with Quality and Compliance to meet all regulatory requirements Lead the clinic through audits, inspections, and corrective actions when needed What Success Looks Like in the First 6–12 Months Clinic census is growing steadily Strong referral pipelines are established Community partners know you by name Staff are engaged, aligned, and performing Patients feel welcomed, respected, and supported Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Are persuasive, confident, and comfortable starting conversations Think entrepreneurially and enjoy building something new Are energized by outreach, community presence, and relationship-building Can balance growth goals with compassionate leadership Believe access to treatment saves lives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Outreach, sales, business development, or community engagement experience is a strong plus

Responsibilities
