About The Position

San Luis Valley Health is seeking a Clinic Manager to join the Clinic Division. The primary responsibilities of this position is to provide a variety of administrative coordination, training and support functions to clinics and staff. Primary duties shall focus on the implementation of all daily ambulatory practice management, operational enhancements and staff training needs. Manages assigned clinic staff and ensures that the clinic and staff operation are effective and meet the goals established for the clinic. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to lead meetings, manages expectations, and drive consensus.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated strong commitment and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately communicate and integrate with teams and constituencies across the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective relationship building skills, including comprehensive communication and "closing the loop".
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and facilitate documentation requirements to ensure project activities, progress, and decisions are properly captured.
  • Requires comprehensive understanding of clinical workflow and healthcare-based information technology.
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet timeline expectations, and completion of projects, a must.
  • Ability to apply training and policies to real-time problems and efficiently identify and act on solutions, within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of all daily Ambulatory Practice Management components.
  • Managing the daily operations of the clinic(s) assigned, including communication, staff training and scheduling, ordering and purchasing, clinic workflows, and overall clinic functionality.
  • Liaison between staff and providers as well as the liaison to Operations Director and organization leadership.
  • Administrative support functions as identified.
  • Identifies and manages issues and risks associated with projects and communicates these effectively to the Director.
  • Ensures collaborative working relationships with department directors, staff, providers, and patients.
  • Training and implementing teams policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and designed workflows within clinic system.
  • Other duties as assigned to support project management and success.
