About The Position

The Clinic Manager oversees the daily operations of the eye clinic, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of administrative, financial, and patient care processes. This position involves leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to maintain a high standard of service for patients and staff. Supervise, train, and schedule administrative and support staff. Manage office communications, including emails, phone calls, and correspondence. Oversee patient scheduling, ensuring appointments are efficiently coordinated. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and OSHA standards. Ensure a positive patient experience by managing the front desk and addressing concerns. Assist with patient inquiries about billing, insurance, and services. Implement patient satisfaction surveys and quality improvement measures. Manage accounts payable/receivable and assist with insurance billing. Prepare and monitor budgets in collaboration with the clinic leadership. Oversee payroll and employee time tracking. Oversee inventory and procurement of office and medical supplies. Coordinate equipment maintenance and service as needed. Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize workflows and address operational challenges. Foster a team-oriented environment by promoting communication and collaboration. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff. Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees. Manage clinic software, including EMR/EHR systems, appointment scheduling, and billing tools. Ensure data security and backup protocols are in place. Duties and responsibilities may be added or changed with prior notice to reflect the needs of the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 yrs. experience in healthcare
  • Computer literacy

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Familiarity with California and federal employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
