About The Position

This position performs technical laboratory testing in the clinic as requested by providers. Follows standard procedures for the various testing analysis, maintains equipment and supplies as needed. Collects specimens, draws blood and performs testing as requested. Generates laboratory reports and disseminates reports to requesting parties in a timely manner.
This position is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• One year experience as a lab technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and collects blood and urine specimens following CLIA and OSHA guidelines.
• Performs STAT testing and conducts tests for evaluating health status as requested.
• Performs control testing on all laboratory equipment on a daily basis and maintains appropriate records as outlined by CLIA guidelines.
• Responsible for quality controls and conducts PRO testing in a timely manner.
• Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment. Maintains inventory of supplies and orders.
