About The Position

Center for Human Development (CHD), is growing! We are currently seeking a Clinic Director to bring their clinical and administrative experience to our newest outpatient clinical site, the CHD Griswold Center. The Griswold Center will work closely with our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) serving the Palmer, MA area and through the Quaboag Hills region of Hampshire, Hampden, and Worcester counties. Your role as a Clinic Director: The Clinic Director is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the site-based programs, supervision of the clinical and other program staff, and for monitoring of the use of resources at the site. This is a position requiring initiative and resourcefulness, and site and program development. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervises and directs the work of the mental health counseling staff, other program staff and students (or delegates and monitors these functions) Participation in recruitment and interviewing prospective staff Manages productivity standards Establishes processes Works in collaboration with inpatient hospital personnel to coordinate care patients being discharged to outpatient services Responsible for proposal of site budget for each fiscal year

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Licensed LICSW or LMHC required
  • Significant knowledge of co-occurring disorders and treatment
  • 5 years’ experience in clinical treatment positions
  • Familiarity with DMH, DPH, and BSAS service systems is preferred
  • Supervisory experience
  • Foundational computer literacy skills
  • Team building, organizing, writing and communication skills
  • Have the ability to develop and implement program policies and procedures in compliance with state regulations and sound clinical practice
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the community and other service providers and funding agencies
