About The Position

Clinic Director (Physical Therapist) | Outpatient Clinic | Full-time | 2050 Abbey Road, Suite B, Charlottesville, VA 22911 Atlantic Sports & Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinic Director / Physical Therapist to lead our outpatient clinic in Charlottesville, VA . This is a unique leadership opportunity for an experienced Physical Therapist who values autonomy, clinical excellence, and a balanced workload. The role is ideal for a self-directed clinician who enjoys treating a general orthopedic population while providing light leadership in a well-established, efficiently run clinic. You’ll join a small, collaborative team with a consistent referral stream, including a pain management group located within the same building, allowing you to treat a diverse and engaging patient population. Responsibilities Clinical Care Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, post-operative, and pain management conditions Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Raintree EMR Manage an independent caseload with a focus on quality outcomes Clinic Leadership Provide oversight of daily clinic operations in a streamlined, low-admin environment Support and mentor team members while maintaining a positive clinic culture Ensure high standards of patient care, satisfaction, and clinical performance Collaborate with leadership on clinic goals and performance Operations & Growth Manage schedule efficiency and patient flow independently Build relationships with local providers and referral sources Support ongoing clinic growth through community engagement What Makes This Role Unique Leadership without heavy administrative burden Autonomous work environment with strong operational support Small, 2-PT clinic setting with a collaborative team dynamic Established referral base , including an on-site pain management practice Opportunity to focus on patient care while leading a stable clinic

Requirements

Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
Active state Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
Minimum 2+ years of outpatient experience preferred
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities
