Job Posting Title: Clinic Athletic Trainer Supervisor Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Provide direct, quality patient care by utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based clinical practice Foster positive patient/family experience in support of organizational efforts related to clinical-care delivery, customer service, and issue resolution Function as role model for team and organization in terms of clinical practice, behavior, communication, and performance Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with peers, departmental leadership, and the interdisciplinary team Assist with day-to-day operations, including assisting staff with timely patient throughput and acting as a resource to & providing support for team members; includes staffing clinics as needed Act as a liaison between departmental leadership and the team, keeping leadership apprised of concerns, feedback, suggestions, and educational needs Actively participate in departmental and/or organization-wide committees or task forces by proposing, supporting, and/or leading process improvement and organizational changes in collaboration with leadership Collaborate with departmental leadership in reviewing policy to ensure policy aligns with best practices and regulatory changes Ensure departmental regulatory readiness by collaborating with departmental leadership Perform audits and collaborate with departmental leadership on action plans to meet goals Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and oversee weekly payroll Complete yearly performance evaluations for direct reports within department Assist departmental leadership with interviewing and hiring process for new employees Assign preceptor to new hires and collaborate with departmental leadership and educator to develop training plan All other duties as assigned by departmental leadership Required Skills/Abilities Bachelor’s degree in an athletic training program or related field required National Athletic Trainer’s Association certification required License in the state of Texas required American Heart Association BLS certification required Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred Management or leadership experience preferred Working Environment Working Conditions: Inside Working Position: Sitting, Standing, and Walking Physical Demands: Medium Physical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying, Pushing/Pulling and Repetitive Movements Lifting or carrying between 11 - 24 lbs. Sensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Hearing, Seeing, and Speaking This position will be exposed to Inside Environments, Bloodborne Pathogens and Respiratory Hazards At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an athletic training program or related field required
  • National Athletic Trainer’s Association certification required
  • License in the state of Texas required
  • American Heart Association BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred
