The Clinic Assistant provides logistical and administrative assistance to staff, providers, patients, and their families.

Requirements

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willing to travel to multiple locations
Core competencies in communication, customer service, teamwork, ethics, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

Takes direction from the Medical Assistance staff and providers performing duties as assigned that are within the scope of the assistant’s practice and competence.
Facilitates the placement and rooming of patients.
Assists provider during procedure upon request.
May act as a designated chaperone upon request.
Responsible for preparing the clinic exam rooms prior to the start of the clinic and cleaning rooms between procedures/patients.
Responsible for stocking the exam rooms with supplies and equipment necessary to support the next morning’s clinic.
