About The Position

The Clinic Aide will assist with clinic organization & cleaning, operational duties, and delegated patient-related tasks under the direct supervision of the Front Desk Manager, AGM, or GM. The Clinic Aide will also assist as second hands when needed in session, under the direct supervision of the treating therapist. This position is anticipated to start in May 2026.

Requirements

  • Must possess an enthusiasm for working with children and collaborating in team environment
  • Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or GED
  • Professional interpersonal conduct with good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management, organization skills and attention to detail
  • Participation in a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education opportunities offered by NAPA Center
  • Background clearance by the DOJ and FBI
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients, therapy team and other medical professionals.
  • Leadership skills to ensure that all clinic staff are working towards the same goals and striving for continual improvement
  • Display a level of professional empathy and the ability to develop rapport.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in healthcare setting and/or desire to learn in outpatient pediatric setting would be advantageous
  • CPR and First Aid certificates preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support therapy staff with instructing, motivating, and safeguarding patients during exercises or functional activity tasks (under direction of treating therapist)
  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting of treatment areas, equipment, and toys
  • Oversee the washing, folding, and distribution of towels by volunteers
  • Organization of clinic or treatment supplies to maintain system set by DOR/GM
  • Assist in the transport of patients to and from treatment areas
  • Provide check-in support with volunteer team to coordinate volunteer duties, as delegated by Volunteer Coordinator
  • Organize and execute pre-intensive duties, including, intensive patient bin labelling and washing of NS garments
  • Organize and execute end of intensive duties, t-shirt selection, certificate preparation & printing, handprints
  • Organize and execute post-intensive duties including sending the intensive summaries to families once an intensive is wrapped up
  • Uploading patient files and documents into EMR system, printing hard copies of clinic documents (administrative or clinical)
