About The Position

The Client Support Intern’s primary role is to assist the IT team in providing timely and effective support to the business community regarding daily operations while leveraging the IT Support Ticket system. This includes, but is not limited to, desktop support, application support, printing and training. Their secondary role is to assist with OCE Projects and Initiatives following our IT Strategy.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years at an accredited Information Technology program
  • Entry level up to 2 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of AD, Windows OS (Windows 10 & 11), Desktop hardware (HP, Microsoft), iOS, Apple iPhone & iPad, basic networking, printing, MS Office, Outlook, Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, Skype for Business, Teams, Citrix XenApp, Endpoint Security.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Installing, configuring, monitoring and deploying desktop hardware/software
  • Process any assigned tickets via the IT Ticket System
  • Assist Investigating and resolving infrastructure issues and escalated support requests
  • Updating software/hardware with the latest patches
  • Provide software applications training
  • Assist in supporting telecommunications operations
  • Training the business community on applications and IT best practices
