About The Position

We are seeking an Onsite Client Support Associate to provide hands-on IT support in a fast-paced office environment in Fairburn, Georgia. This role serves as the primary onsite IT point of contact, supporting internal employees with a wide range of technical needs, including workstation setup, hardware replacement, software troubleshooting, printer support, and network-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will be approachable, dependable, and comfortable supporting both onsite and remote users through an internal ticketing and chat-based support environment.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of related IT support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 to 3 years of customer service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including occasional overtime and weekend hours as needed

Nice To Haves

  • 1 to 3 years of technical support experience in a desktop support, help desk, or onsite support environment
  • Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, notebooks, and printers
  • Strong Microsoft Office user support experience
  • Basic VPN troubleshooting experience
  • Familiarity with hardware setup, laptop imaging, and device deployment
  • IT certifications or related degree preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical support to internal employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and basic networking problems
  • Install, configure, and update software, print drives, utilities, and other workstation applications
  • Issue laptops and other IT equipment to new hires and existing employees
  • Replace hardware components and perform basic system setup and maintenance
  • Monitor installed systems, identify issues, and take corrective action as needed
  • Manage support requests through an internal ticketing system and chat-based support tools
  • Assist both onsite and remote users with day-to-day technical issues
  • Support onboarding activities by preparing equipment and ensuring new hires have the tools they need
  • Maintain onsite printers and address printer-related issues
  • Deliver a high level of customer service while representing the IT team in a professional and helpful manner
  • Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and follow through to resolution
