About The Position

At SAIM, we’re transforming how critical infrastructure operates—from aviation fuel systems to industrial facilities—using real-time data, IoT, and smart software. As a Client Success Intern, you won’t just observe—you’ll help deploy technology that keeps real-world systems running safely and efficiently. If you’re curious, hands-on, and want experience that goes beyond “intern busywork,” this is your opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, software, and customer impact. This is a hybrid role combining project management, customer success, and applied engineering. You’ll work alongside our team and directly with clients to bring SAIM’s platform to life.

Requirements

  • Sophomore or junior pursuing Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • Curious about how software, hardware, and data come together in real-world systems
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working with people as much as technology
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in IoT, data analytics, or industrial systems
  • Exposure to project management tools or technical software platforms
  • Experience working on team-based projects or customer-facing roles

Responsibilities

  • Support onsite deployment of SAIM’s platform at industrial facilities
  • Help onboard new clients and configure software and hardware systems
  • Assist in building project timelines, tracking milestones, and keeping implementations on track
  • Work with tools like Wrike or MS Project to manage deliverables
  • Analyze real-time data and dashboards to validate system performance
  • Support QA/QC of data, reports, and analytics outputs
  • Contribute to initiatives involving predictive maintenance and machine learning insights
  • Train and support users on SAIM’s platform and mobile tools
  • Participate in client check-ins and help improve user experience and adoption
  • Help troubleshoot issues and coordinate solutions with engineering and product teams
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes, workflows, and product features

Benefits

  • Hands-on from day one – You’ll contribute to real deployments, not shadow
  • High-impact work – Your work directly affects real facilities and operations
  • Startup environment – Fast-paced, collaborative, and full of growth opportunities
  • Skill-building across disciplines – Engineering, business, and customer success
  • Mentorship & growth – Learn how technology gets implemented in the real world
  • Real experience deploying a SaaS platform in industrial environments
  • Exposure to IoT, data systems, and digital transformation
  • Strong resume-building experience with measurable impact
  • A clearer path into careers in engineering, consulting, product, or tech
