About The Position

We are looking for a resourceful, communicative and dynamic individual to join our Supply Chain team as an Account Manager. A successful employee in this role will be able to work with RRD’s clients across various industries. This individual should be knowledgeable in Supply Chain Operations, a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will be responsible for Operational and Analytical Account Management for one or more assigned accounts. The position will be driving force for optimized service delivery, customer value/satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Management or discipline related to functional work
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role is required.
  • Must have excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work well with large and diverse teams across multiple time-zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1-2 years in a Supply Chain environment is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Suite is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for the assigned customers.
  • Enhance customer relationship by working closely with customer on the development of targeted solutions and new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of customer’s business and associated supply chain requirements.
  • Ensure planning and inventory strategies are shared and agreed upon with customers.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date customer files, in addition to detailed account history.
  • Consult with customers to understand business issues and goals, and works with customer to develop improved solutions to business needs.
  • Assist sales in the preparation of RFPs and RFQs on the accounts managed.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends , new products, specifications, competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicates new information to Sales Representatives.
  • May be involved in specific customer projects as assigned by sales management.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
