About The Position

Global Credit Finance is the Bank’s lending division. The team oversees a portfolio of 10 different products with $100B of notional commitments. Its 150+ member team operates in the US, EMEA and APAC with offices in Boston, Irvine, London, Munich, Gdansk, Luxembourg, and Bangalore. Global Credit Finance’s mission is twofold: to attract and retain clients of State Street through the use of the firm’s balance sheet; and to add income and diversification to the company’s portfolio of on and off-balance sheet investments. Our products include Private Markets – Subscription Finance, Private Credit, Real Money Funds-Liquidity and Leverage, CLOs, Municipal Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Leveraged Loans, Corporates, and Stable Value Wrap.
Who we are looking for
A successful client strategy intern is an enthusiastic candidate who thinks outside the box and can sufficiently manage their time. This hands-on position will work across the range of all GCF products, hence a candidate should be organized, highly-motivated and have strong problem-solving skills. The job is located in Boston, MA.

This role will work closely with Global Credit Finance business staff who need assistance with various projects outside of their business-as-usual work.

Requirements

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside of the box
• Enthusiasm for learning new products and industry knowledge
• Willingness to take ownership and initiative

Responsibilities

• Own and assist with ad hoc projects across the division
• Facilitate client reporting for Global Credit Finance
• Support senior leaders across client engagement activities
• Create materials to support executive meetings
• Work closely with client strategy team to ensure alignment across GCF front office
