About The Position

Sagis Diagnostics is an entirely physician-led sub-specialty pathology group supported by a CAP-accredited histology lab located in the heart of Houston, Texas. Led by a team of board-certified pathologists, our lab is at the forefront of diagnostic science. Requirements

  • High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of client support services, inventory control, and administrative support experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and work with Marketers to address any issues related to client billing, reports, supplies, etc.
  • Delegate information to the appropriate personnel and follow up to ensure client satisfaction
  • Handle all unplanned requests from clients by processing orders on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • Handling pathology material- retrieve information from Laboratory and shipping pathology materials such as slides and blocks.
  • Handle all incoming faxes, emails, messages, addressing slides requests and report corrections
  • Assist doctors in their ongoing requests for external reports/additional material regarding current patients
  • Work closely with Marketers to process orders of supplies needed for clients and monitor the auto-shipment process
  • Maintain and monitor inventory for client supplies, marketing, operations – including brochures, office supplies, lab supplies, etc.
  • Work with lab management to ensure all client items are properly received, inventoried, and stored
  • Monitor inventory weekly to ensure all required client orders and lab operations can be successfully completed in an efficient manner
  • Examine inflow and outflow of supplies and consult with lab management and sales team regarding any stock issues and adjustments needed
  • Provide recommendations for improvement regarding the inventory system as well as supply ordering and shipping to the management
  • Represent our company with exceptional services to our clients, team members, and patients
