The Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC), established in 1979, has been a cornerstone in Rhode Island and the New England region for over 45 years. Annually, it supplies more than 90,000 crucial blood products to over 50 hospitals, EMS, and various healthcare partners. RIBC is an integral part of New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe), an organization that spans more than 17 states and distributes one million blood products to over 400 U.S. hospitals each year. Beyond blood products, NYBCe also delivers cellular therapies, specialty pharmacy services, and medical services to more than 200 research, academic, and biopharmaceutical entities. The Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute, part of NYBCe, is a prominent leader in hematology and transfusion medicine research, focusing on the study, prevention, treatment, and cure of bloodborne and blood-related diseases. RIBC functions as a vital community lifeline, dedicated to patient support and the advancement of global public health. This position is responsible for collaborating with the Client Services Supervisor and all testing clients to ensure customer service is of the highest level.
