About The Position

The Client Services Intern in the Enterprise Solutions division at S&P Global plays a vital role in supporting private equity and venture capital firms by assisting with portfolio analytics, valuations, investor reporting, and insights into asset operating metrics. This internship offers hands-on experience in the FinTech space, allowing interns to engage directly with clients and contribute to enhancing product adoption and usage.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, expected to graduate no later than May 2026, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • An interest in Capital Markets and financial markets is preferred.
  • Experience in a client-facing role or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management and clientele.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster healthy dialogue and build trusted client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal supervision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a supportive point of contact for client inquiries via phone and email, assisting in the timely resolution of issues related to our product suite.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide support to enhance product adoption and usage.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in regular client meetings, including bi-weekly/monthly calls to discuss KPIs and metrics, while helping to build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Help prepare and deliver scheduled reports, including billing and profitability analyses, to provide insights into client accounts.
  • Gather and relay constructive client feedback to Product Management regarding product enhancements and requirements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving client issues by identifying root causes and suggesting effective remediation steps.
  • Participate in product testing and documentation, providing valuable feedback to product teams.
