About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Client Services Director with experience selling Engineering Design Services. This is a fully remote position with significant opportunities to build and grow new client relationships. In this role, you will leverage your business development expertise to sell a wide range of engineering services and establish long-term strategic partnerships across diverse industries and company sizes. You will be responsible for prospecting and selling the following core services: Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Design Services Embedded Engineering Engineering Analysis Technical Publications Additional engineering offerings as needed The ideal candidate has a proven record of selling engineering services, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to independently drive new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business development and sales roles within engineering design services
  • Strong background in solution selling
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of a wide range of engineering disciplines
  • Ability to interpret client requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards
  • Demonstrated success in developing and closing sales contracts
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, writing, and presentation skills
  • High energy, strong work ethic, and a self-starter mindset
  • Resourceful, creative, and adaptable
  • Positive attitude with a strong team orientation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop listings, build contacts, and conduct cold calling, along with Marketing to penetrate key market segments.
  • Meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their challenges and align our services with their needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams and clients to develop tailored solutions through a consultative sales process.
  • Create strong value propositions that result in winning proposals.
  • Negotiate and close business that aligns with company sales goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, peers, and leadership.
  • Support trade shows and marketing activities that expand the sales pipeline.
  • Analyze marketing, technology, and industry trends across target verticals.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline by using our CRM tool.
