About The Position

The Associate – Client Services (Associate) is accountable for assisting in the management and development of existing client relationships and ensuring that exceptional service is always provided to ADM clients. This role serves as a key relationship contact for clients and supports business development efforts through proactive communication, conference participation, and client visits. The Associate must demonstrate confidence, professionalism, and the ability to represent ADM in external settings. This position requires obtaining the Series 50 license. The first attempt must occur within six (6) months of hire, and the license must be successfully obtained within twelve (12) months of hire.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field.
  • Must obtain and maintain the Series 50 license. First attempt must occur within six (6) months of hire, and the license must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire.
  • Strong human relations skills to interface with staff at all levels inside/outside of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and relationship management skills required, as this role interacts with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to apply the following mathematical concepts to practical situations: fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Ability to use various computer applications such as: MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Interpersonal skills adequate to continually deepen existing client and/or institutional relationships to help ADM achieve all sales and profit goals.
  • Outgoing, confident presence with ability to lead client conversations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Presence in the marketplace at events, meetings, and conferences, as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to execute special projects as requested by C-Suite.
  • Demonstrated dedication to professional development.
  • Dedication to 100% accuracy and completion within company guidelines.
  • Ability to represent ADM to C-Suite executives and ADM clients.
  • Ability to cross-sell ADM products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Instrumental in successfully on-boarding new clients.
  • Conducts regular client check-in calls to deepen relationships and identify service opportunities.
  • Demonstrates account management tools, e.g. Secure Portal, to clients and prospects.
  • Coordinates deposit, withdrawal, transfer requests, and vendor payments.
  • Reviews account statements and other analytics with clients.
  • Provides solutions and identifies opportunities for growth.
  • Assists with CD process coordination and related client communications.
  • Ensures compliance with ADM policies and procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of core products and services and refers clients and prospects accordingly.
  • Represents ADM at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Ability to travel to meet clients and prospects. Estimated travel time 5-10%.
  • Assists sales team with relationship support and follow-up efforts.
  • Coordinates across departments to ensure seamless client experience.
  • Assists with development of policies and procedures to standardize functions within the department and organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates professional conduct and interacts in a positive manner with co-workers, clients, and business partners.
  • Participates in ongoing professional development and training programs to further develop knowledge and skills.
