Responsible for AML due diligence, deposit account opening, loan funding, and servicing a dedicated portfolio of commercial clients. Requirements

  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in client services within the Banking Industry.
  • Knowledge of CIBC systems and procedures.
  • Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and Word as well as the ability to quickly learn proprietary software applications supporting the origination.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for AML due diligence, deposit account opening, loan funding, and servicing a dedicated portfolio of commercial clients.
  • Oversee the service needs of our relationships while collaborating with the team identified to support it.
  • Coordinating people and resources, as well as managing and tracking the relationship, while identifying and mitigating potential issues in a timely proactive manner.
  • Interpret, validate and obtain the required information to complete the necessary AML/legal forms for internal and external client requests.
  • Ensure all mandatory documentation haven been properly filled out and executed.
  • Regularly update knowledge of internal (i.e., new products, procedures, and organizational changes) and external (i.e., technology, regulatory changes) developments to respond to client needs promptly and suitably.

  • This role has an expected salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position.
  • The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
