GENERAL OVERVIEW: Acts as a liaison between the client and the laboratory providing patient information and resolution of patient care issues.

Responsibilities

  • Reports laboratory results to clients using multiple technologies. (50%)
  • Investigates client concerns and notifies appropriate personnel of resolution. (35%)
  • Participates in programs to keep updated with current and changing technologies. (5%)
  • Disseminates information to callers regarding lab operations. (5%)
  • May also assist in specimen processing. (5%)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required.
