About The Position

We are searching for a full-time Client Service Representative or Receptionist to join our team in Fremont, CA! We’re offering an hourly rate of $20 - 25/h r based on experience, along with training/career growth potential and comprehensive benefits. We are looking for compassionate, motivated team players committed to excellent client service and interested in the field. You’d be a great fit if you: Are comfortable around cats and dogs Strive to provide each client with compassion and care Are team-oriented with a strong work ethic Have at least a High school diploma or equivalent. Have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service and/or client-focused setting. Veterinary or medical setting preferred. Are available Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 7:00pm. Shift times may vary. About our Veterinary General Practice: Since 1959, Central Veterinary Hospital has strived to bring excellent medicine and surgery as well as a gentle, compassionate touch to the pets entrusted to us. The hospital was founded under the leadership of Dr. W. S. Bentham, which later continued under his son, the late Dr. W. H. Bentham. Requirements

• Are comfortable around cats and dogs

• Are available Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 7:00pm. Shift times may vary.

Responsibilities

• General front desk duties: greeting clients, booking appointments, etc.
• Rooming patients and taking a brief history
• Client communication
• Managing phone lines
• Cleaning and disinfecting the hospital
• Carrying out tasks as requested by the veterinarian
• Medical records management
