Hear why our veterinarians are "Happy Here" on our videos page! Position Summary Animal Care Center is looking to hire a Client Service Receptionist to join our front office team. This is a full-time position. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Customer Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service

Nice To Haves

  • Veterinary experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and surgeries
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and appointments
  • Process prescription and food requests in a timely fashion correctly
  • Accurately schedule appointments, surgeries and boarding reservations
  • Complete daily department checklist to a high standard
  • Receive and respond or process incoming communications such as emails and AllyDVM
  • Confirm patients have all necessary communication and medication the doctor has prepared
  • Perform end of day closing procedures in Cornerstone – Hands on training will be provided
  • Stay up to date on patient history
  • Able to lift minimum of 15lbs
  • Intermediate knowledge of grammar and spelling
  • Proficient in in Microsoft Office and Windows Outlook
  • Willingness to adhere to work schedules
  • Other duties assigned
