The Client Service Manager at Marsh is responsible for managing a portfolio of captive insurance company clients, overseeing their day-to-day activities. This includes preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing cash transactions. The role requires the ability to handle complex clients through the full cycle of life accounting and familiarity with international clients' unique rules and regulations. The manager will assist clients proactively, plan and complete annual audits, prepare regulatory filings and GAAP financial statements, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory processes. Proactive communication with clients on trending regulatory issues and maintaining client files are also key. The position involves monitoring team and client activities, corresponding with other service providers, and reviewing their reports. Additionally, the Client Service Manager is expected to coach, mentor, and review the work of junior colleagues, participate in global projects to develop best practices, and lead board and committee meetings.
