About The Position

The Client Service Associate role focuses on supporting clients and advisors by executing routine administrative tasks and handling client requests. Responsibilities include assisting with account openings, processing paperwork, and preparing basic reports. The Associate ensures CRM data accuracy and helps with client follow-up and meeting preparations. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing friendly and professional client service. The role also involves learning about investment products and improving internal processes under supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in all CSA functions, plus:
  • Ability to talk to clients and community members independently.
  • Ability to train and mentor CSA’s (over time)
  • Demonstrate strong and effective leadership skills through clear communication and collaboration with others.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce are ideal.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision required.
  • Must accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Communication skills both internally and externally with clients/the community are imperative.
  • Tenacious about doing what is right for the client – always.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to help practice leader with administrative duties, including assisting with Cerity Partners’ initiatives, reporting requirements, and communication.
  • Office organizational duties, from ordering supplies to preparing for client visits, and also managing client gifts and entertainment.
  • Assist advisory team with onboarding of new clients: customize our standard contract with new client information, obtain all appropriate forms from custodian, and work with each new client to ensure accurate completion.
  • Coordinate submission with the custodian for processing.
  • Drive proactive process improvements for advisor and CSA team members.
  • Proactively interact with clients and assist in creating an outstanding client experience.
  • Assist with the timely completion and submission of all client related transaction requests.
  • Organize and maintain the CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Be willing to answer inbound phone calls and relay messages/perform gatekeeper duties.
