This hybrid role based in Stamford, CT is an opportunity to join a collaborative, client‑embedded insights team supporting a leading consumer business. You will work closely with category leads and analyst peers to leverage data, analytics, and insights to inform growth strategy and address critical business questions. We are seeking candidates with 2–4 years of experience in market research, analytics, CPG, or adjacent client‑facing analytical roles, with a strong interest in working with data to develop clear, actionable insights. This role is well suited for someone who can work independently on well‑scoped analyses, bring forward ideas and recommendations, and grow through close collaboration with teammates. The expected onsite cadence is approximately 2–3 days per week in Stamford, CT to support learning, team connection, and client engagement.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant, progressive experience in marketing, insights, analytics, or related client‑facing roles within CPG, market research, marketing services, or closely related industries.
  • Hands‑on experience analyzing data using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and/or internal analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple data sources to address business questions and develop data‑driven insights.
  • Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Circana/IRI or other syndicated data solutions (e.g., NielsenIQ) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize data using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Circana internal tools to develop clear analyses, compelling client‑ready materials, and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently conceive, manage, and deliver fact‑based analyses that provide clients with fresh, actionable insights to inform strategy.
  • Adept at quickly recognizing and understanding client needs and desired outcomes; comfortable asking discovery and scoping questions when needed.
  • Proactively develop analysis approaches, project plans, and client deliverable structures that align to business questions.
  • Skillfully apply multiple data sets and metrics to address client issues, leading to clear, fact‑based responses and recommendations.
  • Bring forward hypotheses, analytical perspectives, and draft conclusions for discussion and refinement with category leads.
  • Help teammates improve their deliverables and contribute to the team’s shared learning and thought leadership output.
  • Apply knowledge of the client, marketplace dynamics, and Circana capabilities to support identification of opportunities and contribute to client growth conversations.
  • Partner with senior team members to help shape, scope, and deliver services that address expressed and unexpressed client needs.
  • Ask thoughtful questions to identify root causes of business challenges versus surface‑level symptoms.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional and credible presence with clients and internal partners.
  • Build trust with clients, Circana cross‑functional partners, and other stakeholders, and be viewed as a reliable and collaborative thought partner.
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and awareness of industry trends and their potential impact on clients, consumers, shoppers, and competitors.
  • Educate clients on analytic methods, contribute to shaping their thinking, and help influence data‑informed decisions.
