About The Position
The Client Retail Representative serves as the cashier at Donnie’s convenient store located in the Rodeway Inn. The position will also be responsible for stocking shelves, ordering product and other store functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential functions are duties which are primary to the position. An individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The essential functions of this position are: 1. Facilitates transactions with customers including cash, credit/debit card, EBT Snap payments and employee deductions using a Point of Sale system. 2. Maintains safe keeping of assets including cash and product. 3. Opens and closes the store and ensures proper inventory. 4. Stocks shelves with new product and maintains good overall appearance. 5. Closes register using Point of Sale system and ensures proper deposit. 6. Completes daily reporting as needed by management. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS Secondary functions are duties, which are not exclusive of the position and can be performed by other positions; however, secondary duties are to be performed for the efficiency of The Counseling Center, Inc. 1. Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Basic retail customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot issues.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service role; minimum of 2 years preferred.
- Computer and point-of-sale proficiency preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience with previous convenience retail establishment is a plus.
