About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our North America Career Products Account Management team at Mercer. This role will be based in Louisville and or Dallas. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Account Specialist, you will be part of a team managing a book of about 1000 clients, many of whom are multinational companies subscribing to our global data offerings. You will play a key role in client servicing, supporting Dedicated Account Managers, and ensuring smooth client communication and account management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication skills and highly organized
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in client-facing roles
  • Strong English proficiency for interaction with North American clients

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in client servicing or account coordination roles
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales support tools
  • Flexibility to work flex shifts (e.g., 10 AM–6 PM or 11 AM–7 PM) to accommodate time zone differences

Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries through the shared Client Engagement mailbox and handle all components of servicing client accounts
  • Ensure timely submission and resolution of platform access requests
  • Support sales and contract renewal tasks such as creating quotes, drafting contracts for review and preparing supplementary materials as needed
  • Maintain accurate records by entering opportunities and contract updates into MPower, our CRM tool, and conducting regular audits for data accuracy
  • Assist with the invoicing process including initial review, coordination with billing team, and client communication
  • Support Dedicated Account Managers and clients during the participation process; including user management, client trainings on our tools, meeting preparation, reminders, and audit assistance
  • Communicate directly with clients mainly via email and occasionally by phone, supporting the sales and renewal process without direct selling responsibilities
