About The Position

The Client Relations Specialist will report to the VP, Marketing & Customer Support and be responsible for assisting with the many facets of the sales and marketing efforts which include forming relationships with existing accounts, sales support, and administrative duties, including CRM database maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional work experience will be considered.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and experience managing data within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is mandatory.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant experience within the construction, mechanical, or trade industries (Plumbing/HVAC).
  • Working knowledge of a graphic editor program of your choice

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and increase revenue.
  • Actively pursuing and acquiring prospective clientele across all service departments through scheduled on-site visits and targeted outreach.
  • Boost sales growth by increasing the submission and approval rate of service estimates.
  • Conduct proactive calls and meetings with existing and potential clients to thoroughly understand and address their comprehensive service needs.
  • Prepare and present professional presentations promoting our full range of services and value propositions.
  • Serve as the primary customer liaison, managing all client communications and issues from initial contact through project completion.
  • Ensuring the seamless, timely, and accurate transfer of crucial project information across all internal stakeholders.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with current clientele, proactively identifying and anticipating future needs, and spotting opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional company services.
  • Maintaining the highest level of accuracy for all current and historical client data, interactions, and notes within the Cornerstone CRM database is essential.
  • Proactively manage the follow-up process for all pending, overdue, and unawarded estimates associated with new business or strategic targets.
  • Contribute to improved organizational efficiency by identifying and providing solutions to streamline customer-facing communication processes and providing valuable feedback to internal teams based on client insights to drive continuous improvement.
