As a Client Partner , you will manage and grow strategic accounts, client relationships, and business partnerships. This role focuses heavily on new business development, upselling, cross-selling, and securing renewals within Microsoft strategic accounts. You will use solution selling, detailed account planning, and targeted prospecting to qualify accounts, understand client needs, educate them on Applause's offerings, and identify solutions for their application development and testing challenges.

  • Develop and Nurture Strategic Relationships by building and sustaining robust partnerships with senior executives at Microsoft. Gain a comprehensive understanding of their business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to strategically align our products and services with their requirements.
  • Drive revenue growth by collaborating closely with all stakeholders to identify and pursue revenue-generating opportunities. Formulate comprehensive account strategies and leverage internal resources judiciously to attain sales targets and surpass client expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and a trusted advisor for our clients, providing expert counsel on industry trends, market insights, and innovative solutions to propel their business growth and success.
  • Proactively engage with clients to ascertain their requirements, pain points, and strategic goals. Conduct in-depth needs analyses to pinpoint areas where our solutions can deliver significant value and address their specific challenges.
  • Utilize a profound understanding of the high-technology industry and our product offerings to furnish strategic recommendations and bespoke solutions tailored to the clients' unique business imperatives.
  • Effectively articulate the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including solution consultants, delivery managers, marketing, and customer success, to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions and exceed client expectations. Coordinate efforts to maximize client satisfaction and drive long-term customer retention.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the latest trends, innovations, and best practices within the high-technology industry. Leverage this intelligence to anticipate market shifts and provide invaluable insights to clients.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in Professional Services, Managed Services, or solution sales, preferably within the high-technology vertical.
  • A proven record of accomplishment in successful customer engagements across a spectrum of enterprise-class verticals.
  • In-depth knowledge of the high-technology industry, including key market participants, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and effectively driving revenue growth.
  • Possession of strategic thinking and problem-solving acumen, underpinned by a customer-centric methodology.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and influencing capabilities.
  • The capacity to operate autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic professional environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with executive-level clients.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent professional business experience.
