The Client Onboarding Sr. Analyst is responsible for reviewing account opening documentation, KYC information, and conducting CIP, due diligence, and negative media analysis for new and existing clients. This position at Banco Santander International (BSI) ensures client accounts opened in the Commercial 1LOD comply with BSI and Group policies, as well as U.S. and local laws and regulations. The Sr. Analyst will also assist in developing awareness of BSI’s Risk Tolerance Statement and contribute to special projects within the Onboarding & Documentation Unit. A key aspect of the role is managing relationships with Regionals and Bankers in supported marketing regions, identifying improvement opportunities, and coordinating necessary actions. The Client Onboarding Sr. Analyst reports to the Client Onboarding & Documentation Unit manager.
