About The Position

The Client Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the successful client onboarding experience for BCS’s Supplemental Health Solutions. These include Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Limited Benefits suite of group products. The right candidate will be the face to the client and will work closely with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and various members of the Service and Operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field required or commensurate experience.
  • 5+ years in implementation, project management, or client onboarding roles.
  • Background in Accident & Health insurance or group benefits strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to perform in cross-functional teams and manage client-facing projects.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to respond strategically in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Competence in industry-standard tools and technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Travel to our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office 1-2 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
  • Experience with project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client implementation documentation
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and document group specific requirements
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation success
  • Monitor and report on each client’s progress and deliverables
  • Provide training and support to clients during the implementation process
  • Serves as a key relationship liaison with the Sales organization and Brokers to address and resolve implementation issues.
  • Serves as the single point of contact for the implementation of new and existing clients adding additional products to their group plan; accountable for leading clients, brokers, and sales partners through the implementation process and facilitating a timely and accurate implementation.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining workflow and reporting systems.
  • Transfer cases to the appropriate account management team once implementation is complete.
