About The Position

The Transformation Healthcare INC (THI) Driver is a dedicated and reliable professional responsible for ensuring clients receive the best care possible by transporting them or handling deliveries in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance for the vehicle, planning routes based on road and traffic conditions, and ultimately increasing customer satisfaction. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Additionally, the driver will serve as a Client Liaison between case managers, monitor crisis resolution, assist with intake, and provide supportive client care, including transporting clients for medication and MAT programs. The role involves interacting professionally with adult and family clients and requires English language proficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver’s license
A clean driving record
Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to communicate respectfully and calm to stressful clients while on the road
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
A high school diploma

Responsibilities

Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
Run errands as needed
Arrive at destinations on schedule
Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
Pick up clients from the place and at the time scheduled
Assist clients with loading and unloading their luggage
Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up to date on road conditions
Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
Use navigation applications to determine the best route
Always interact with clients professionally
Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
Book car wash and detailing services to maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the car
Keep mileage records and repair records up to date
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
