The Client Integration (CI) Manager position operates within Client Transition Services (CTS) and the broader Global Operations function and is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and oversight of various client and fund lifecycle events as well as transition and operational related events for Wellington’s sponsored fund ranges. They will oversee the operational aspects of various client transition events including new mandate fundings, terminations, all asset-in-kind flows and product/portfolio changes through effective project management, with an emphasis on operational risk and control environment. The CI Manager will work closely with other teams across the infrastructure, investment, and client platforms to ensure a well-executed and risk managed transition event. A substantial amount of time will be devoted to both internal cross functional co-ordination and external communication with clients, transition managers, custodian banks, third party accounting agents, outsourcing providers, and vendors. The CI Manager would engage the organization appropriately to overseeing the planning, coordination and oversight of various client and fund lifecycle events, ensuring that all appropriate parties and functional groups are informed, involved, and engaged in the transition process. This includes the evaluation of the complexity, special requirements, and risks associated with each event, while also considering ongoing servicing requirements. Each event may require multiple adjustments to strategy and execution, depending on client needs and internal business policies and standards.
