About The Position

We are hiring a Human Resources Business Partner in NE/NY/NJ area to work with our Center of Influence clients! The HR Business Partner for COI builds, maintains, and strengthens key relationships with our highly valued external center of influence (COI) partners. These partners are contracted to refer new clients to ADP TotalSource in a variety of ways (e.g., brokers, CPAs, etc.). In this role, you will serve as the strategic HR partner and account manager for our referred clients, and you’ll play a key role in providing a best-in-class level of service, ensuring every interaction delivers on our promise to exceed expectations. You’ll provide strategic, responsive, and consultative support to your clients while maintaining a close connection with your COI partners. Requirements

  • Candidate must be located in the NE/NY/NJ or surrounding areas as they will be required to manage an external client territory/book of business within the New England States/Northeast NY/NJ area/ surrounding areas. Will be a hybrid work model.  (Remote, Field visiting clients within the NE region including DE, MA, CT, NH, PA, MD, VA).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Human Capital Management
  • 5+ years of HR or client-facing experience in Payroll or Professional Employer Organizations (PEO)
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering strategic and operational human capital management programs and processes
  • Proven ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships and partnerships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to regularly travel to client sites and internal events (~20% travel)
  • Experience noted above, OR
  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of assigned COI accounts, functioning as a consultant on strategic human capital processes and programs, including workforce planning, competency modeling and development, recruiting, hiring and on-boarding, succession planning, performance management, leadership/employee development, and employee engagement
  • Build mutually beneficial relationships with referring partners and clients, communicating effectively to obtain awareness, understanding, and buy-in of TotalSource value
  • Analyze employee data and feedback to identify strengths, weaknesses, and root-cause issues. Present recommendations and actions for improvement
  • Client Evaluation: support the due diligence process for prospective clients, and identify additional service opportunities for existing clients
  • Client Service: deliver a best-in-class client experience through proactive, impactful, and responsive partnership and influence
  • Consult with external referring partners to build and maintain relationships and ensure alignment on client initiatives and strategy
  • Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, Service/Operational Teams, and leadership to evaluate and deliver on external partner and client needs
  • Leverage ADP data, tools, and resources to present to clients and referring partners to support clients in driving business decisions
  • Serve as escalation point for all billing and pricing questions from clients and external partners
  • Work with market leaders to develop and implement best practices around service challenges, product quality, and service delivery enhancements to drive client and external partner satisfaction and retention
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
